Georgia
Georgia is approximately 6 years old and 60 pounds.
She would thrive in a home where there are no children and she is the only fur-child in the home. Georgia will be EXTREMELY protective of her new female owner; not allowing strange dogs around her and barking at strange men that come near her.
She will take some patience when it comes to a man that is permanently in her fur-ever home. She can easily be won over by human food though :) Georgia has previously barked at the man of the household when her “mom” is home by herself, but will not bark at “dad” when it is just them at home.
That being said, Georgia is a very sweet girl. She loves to cuddle and get loved on as she was left for 10 plus hours every day at her previous home. She has been dog tested in a neutral environment and played well with other dogs of different sizes, but wants all the attention when she is “at home” and will growl or snap at another dog.
She is very vocal when left alone but ultimately settles down and does enjoy her crate. She just doesn’t want to be left alone all day long :)
Currently Georgia is in a kennel and we would love to break her out! Please contact Jenna Pecenka, the Indiana Coordinator, with any questions!
